Whether you are an avid fisherman or a first time sportfisher this trip is for you!  The Desperado has an Owner Operated, Coast Guard licensed captain with 27 years experience in Hawaii.  Captain Dan Shaffer was named the number one Captain in 1997 and has been successfully hunting our waters for the biggest and best of Mahi Mahi, Ono, Marlin, Tuna, and the list goes on... They hold state records such as bringing in 16 Ahi averaging 150 pounds in one charter, catching 58 Marlin in one month, catching 8 out of the 11 record Marlin in Maui county!

"Desperado" houses the top of the line Gold Penn International rods and reels.  Using live bait, lures, strip, chunk and chum, we bring in the biggest and the best. We have custom built fish boxes and plenty of room for coolers and ice.  We have plenty of ice and cooler space so bring along your favorite drinks and snacks.  Alcohol is permitted but not provided.  The shaded cabin offers plenty of room to sit or stretch out with a clean comfortable head below.

We offer Private Charters or Share Boat Charters for 1/2, 3/4 or full day excursions.  We recommend a full day for big game to ensure enough deep water time. 6 passengers maximum - Everyone Fishes! No license required.
