Haleakala Bike and Winery Tour
After coasting down Haleakala you will visit Maui’s only winery. This exciting Maui Biking tour combines the Maui Downhill bike adventure and a stop at Ulupakakua Ranch.
Meet at our office location in Kahului to be fitted with bicycle helmets and windbreakers for your comfort and tour safety. Enjoy hot beverages and a continental breakfast at our office location. The safari van ascends to the top of Haleakala Ranch at the 6500’ elevation level just outside of the National Park entrance. Before you begin your descent down the world’s largest dormant volcano, tour guides will provide a safety briefing including Hawaii’s bicycle safety regulations and tour guidelines.
Enjoy spectacular views of Maui’s central valley and West Maui Mountains. Be sure to bring your camera because there will be various stops during Haleakala Bike Rides to capture the beautiful landscape on film. Haleakala safari guides will point out Maui highlights and unique features of the mountain.
The bicycle portion of your safari will end with eucalyptus forests and the upcountry community of Kula with its beautiful lavender farms and Jacaranda tree lined roadways.
Next, the Safari van tour takes you from above Pukalani and travels to Ulupalakua. We will make a photo stop along the way. Enjoy a no host picnic lunch at Ulupalakua ranch. Walk around the grounds of Tedeschi Vineyard, Maui's only winery and enjoy free tasting of local wines.
