Utilizing almost every boat in our fleet, our Whale Watch cruises leave from both Ma‘alaea Harbor and Lahaina Harbor and take place at various times. This Whale Watch Includes: Whale watching with guaranteed sightings. Expert narration by Pacific Whale Foundation's certified Marine Naturalists Hydrophones for listening  to the whales as they communicate.

Our whale watches vessels include 2 Explorer Super Rafts, the largest and fastest 49’ rafts (RHIB) in the State of Hawaii.  They are US Coast Guard certified for 49 passengers but we limit to 38 passengers for comfort. Our newest Explorer Super Raft is a 39’ super fast raft US Coast Guard certified for 42 passengers. Explorer Super Rafts are very fast and comfortable vessels.  They have shaded areas, comfortable padded seating, and on-board restrooms.  The speed enables our guests to have more time to watch whales and less time traveling to and from our leviathan friends.

Enjoy an afternoon adventure of whale watching from an “eye-level” perspective. You will be able to view the whales on both port and starboard sides comfortably from your seat. An onboard Naturalist will be able to answer all your questions and will be giving a talk on the Humpbacks. You will have an excellent opportunity to get some excellent photographs of the whales.  Hokua" is the newest and most exciting charter vessel located at Maalaea Harbor. She is a 40-ft power catamaran specifically built for our unique Hawaiian waters. She is Coast Guard approved to carry up to 36 passengers but we limit our guests to 30 per trip to allow for extra room for everyone to spread out and relax in comfort. Her Captain and Crew have over 30 years of combined experience in the waters off Maui.
